ChituPrivacy Policy
This policy explains how the Chitu website and app process personal information when providing accounts, community information, signal queries and notifications. The service is provided by the Chitu community, referred to below as “Chitu” or “we”.
1. Information types and purposes
- Account and membership informationEmail addresses, nicknames, account identifiers, verification code validation information, invitation or activation information, and membership status are used for authentication, account management and access checks. Device identifiers, device names and platforms are used to identify signed-in devices and maintain sessions.
- Queries, watchlists and preferencesCA, chain and token information in your queries is sent to the server to return relevant content. The app currently stores watchlists, recent searches, filters and reading preferences on your device. Clearing local data may remove these records.
- Notification informationWhen notifications are enabled, push subscription identifiers, device tokens, notification permissions and alert preferences are processed to match and send messages. Delivery, click and test receipts help diagnose delivery issues. Some diagnostics are stored locally, while test receipts are submitted to the server.
- Access and support informationWhen you access the website or APIs, servers and infrastructure may generate logs containing IP addresses, request times, and device or browser information. If you contact support, the contact details, issue descriptions and attachments you provide are used to handle your request.
Do not provide Chitu or support staff with wallet private keys, seed phrases or other credentials that control assets.
2. Third-party services and external links
- OneSignal notifications:The app uses OneSignal to send notifications. Its SDK may process push identifiers, device and system information, IP addresses and notification interactions. The scope depends on the version, configuration and service plan. See the OneSignal Privacy Policy. You can stop receiving notifications by disabling in-app notifications and system permissions.
- YouTube videos:The website loads the embedded YouTube player only after you click Play. Your browser then sends request data such as IP and browser information to YouTube. Using youtube-nocookie does not mean no data is processed during playback. See the Google Privacy Policy。
- External platforms:When you open Telegram, X, market data platforms or Apple TestFlight, those platforms process information under their own rules. The website’s “Copy account” button only writes that account to your clipboard; it does not read existing clipboard content.
A complete list of providers for account email, hosting infrastructure and underlying push channels, their locations and actual processing scope must be added before final publication. This draft does not mean that third-party data processing has been fully reviewed.
3. Retention, location and security
Information is intended to be retained for the shortest period needed for the relevant function, except records required by law. Information eligible for deletion should be deleted or anonymized, and legally retained information should have restricted uses.
To be confirmed: server and backup locations, specific retention periods for accounts and operational logs, backup deletion schedules, and data transfer arrangements involving overseas services.
We should apply access controls, transmission protection and security measures appropriate to the information risks. Internet services cannot guarantee absolute security. Incidents affecting personal information should be handled under applicable requirements, with affected users informed.
4. Your choices and rights
You can adjust alert preferences, disable system notifications, and manage local watchlists and search history. Disabling notifications does not close your account or automatically delete server records.
To request access to, a copy of, correction or deletion of personal information, withdraw consent or close an account, use the contact details below. After verifying necessary identity information, we should handle the request under applicable rules and explain the outcome. Specific response periods must be stated in the final version. Reasons should be given for information that must be retained or cannot yet be deleted.
Refusing non-essential information processing should not affect unrelated features. A feature may be unavailable if information necessary to provide it, such as a sign-in email address, is missing.
5. Personal information in community content
Group nicknames, avatars, messages and public on-chain addresses displayed in the product may involve personal information. If you believe content infringes privacy or other rights, contact Xiaoshidi with the page, content location and reasons for your request so it can be reviewed. Do not include unrelated people’s private information in a complaint.
6. Minors and policy updates
The service is intended for adults with the relevant legal capacity. Contact us if a minor has provided personal information contrary to applicable requirements. Material changes to processing purposes, information types or third-party arrangements should be reflected in an updated policy, with separate notice and consent where required.
